In June 2018 I was contacted by Red Bull to design two playing shirts for their Creators of the Game event. I drew inspiration from Miami’s iconic coastline, using an aqua wave pattern and combining it with the home and away colours of white and black. I kept the shirt relatively simple yet bold as the brief was to create something that could be appreciated both on and off the pitch. The shirt was put into production and distributed at the US National finals of the Red Bull x Neymar jR 5’s event, the winner of which flew Brasil for the final of the competition.
The shirts were produced in limited numbers and worn by the likes of Jimmy Conrad who presented part of the event. Click below to watch some footage from the Red Bull Facebook page.
