The ‘Design Club’ Blackout shirt is the second installment of concept kits brought to life, nearly three years after the original ‘Panther’ design, which was released back in 2018.

The idea of the collection is to bring the fashion and football worlds together, something that’s been a focal point of the XZTALS concepts over the last few years. The shirts take inspiration from designs found on Instagram with sharp geometrics becoming somewhat of a signature.

Whilst this is the first ‘Design Club’ release, there’s more being planned for later in the year with collaborations being at the forefront. Although XZTALS is known best for football shirts, I wanted to push into streetwear and understand a tee is more wearable for most, so made sense to include one within the collection. Moving forward more tees and hoodies will be brought in alongside the shirts to help appeal to more people and further cross the football x fashion barrier.

Finally, I know that the past year has been tough for many people so thought it made sense to work alongside CALM where I’ll be donating 15% of each shirt sale.
